All guests are strongly encouraged to book a room at Skyland Lodge (we have a block of rooms for our guests), all booking information can be found on the Travel page of this website. Staying at Skyland will put you steps from the ceremony and reception, both happening at Skyland in the park.

The ceremony (weather permitting) will be outside in August, so we first want our guests to be comfortable! The dress code is semi-formal garden party attire, examples of which can be found here: https://greenweddingshoes.com/garden-party-attire-dress-code/. Please wear shoes that can be worn on grass and uneven ground (such as block heels or wedges). The wedding party will be wearing sage.

The ceremony is at 2pm followed by a cocktail hour and reception. The reception will wrap up by 9pm.

Because National Parks are awesome and we LOVE them! Shenandoah is an amazing park that we adore and can't wait for all of our family and friends to join us to celebrate our wedding at one of our favorite places. We encourage you to explore the park while you come from near and far to celebrate our big day!
